Amy Thornton's father was a painter/art director and her mother was a photographer/ceramicist. After graduating summa cum laude, she traveled throughout Europe, lived in London, and also lived in New York City where she showed her work during the 1990s. She has been collected nationally; was featured on a television broadcast; and is known for her unique, energetic, "dancing" paintings that shift the energy and spirit of their environment. She resides in Denver and travels extensively creating beautiful custom works for her clientele.
